Honestly speaking, even I am amazed how creative these concepts are, it's so refreshing to watch new things.
Y'know how scar "leaked" the name being hard life, i think that WAS the name but grian changed it cause it was leaked. Explains why the 30 hearts with no regen so i think that that would have been hard life
The ideas build off of one another. From what I have seen the changed concept introduced is normally an issue found with the previous series.

The fact that two people intruded Gem's personal space and neither of them got murdered is extremely impressive. They're lucky they got those tasks in the first episode.

If you haven’t seen anyone’s video where they come across him… then you won’t understand the mystery that watching his perspective reveals.
Watching Gem complete her task 3 minutes in compared to watching Etho struggle with his wildly harder task is hilarious.
If Jimmy is the first one to be out of the series, I don’t know what to do after that..

Let’s be realistic, Jimmy always finds a way to get rid of his last life first like he’s speedrunning these series.
The script is already written; the only way he's getting out of it is if someone's red-life task is to kill specifically someone else on red life.

The sheer contrast between Martyn and Gem's POVs is so funny. Gem gets her task done instantly, THRICE, and barely takes any damage. Meanwhile Martyn gets his task done at the last minute under duress and takes more than 2/3 of his hearts in damage.
Gem does her task three times with increasing impressiveness and is like, "I hope this counts..."

@@force1535 In the first episode of Hermitcraft S9, a group of people, including Gem, went caving, and there were multiple instances of mobs sneaking up on Gem and people yelling "Behind you Gem!!" So many so that it became a running joke of 'Behind you, Gem!'

I imagine it'll start to even out again once she gets back... and when this series ends.

I have three Task Suggestions.
Secret Task: Steal five doors or trap doors and hide them in their bases.
Hard Task: Destroy someones base and move it to another side of the map.
I don't know if this a Hard Task or a Secret Task but the Task is to: turn the upside down house right side up without getting caught.
I need a Geminslay vs Crazy Pearl moment. Because no one brings the crazy like Pearl does in the Life series.
I've decided that is the moment I'm most looking foward to in this series.

I grew up on Jem and the Holograms so Gem and the Scotts hit me extra, i think. I love it! I hope you have so much fun Cottaging, and living up to your reputation this season!
And, about the fishing, i don't know if anyone mentioned yet, but to get "treasure" from fishing the hole must be a 5 x 4 x 5 area. to quote the wiki, which confused me a lil, "To catch items in the treasure category, the bobber must be in open water, defined as the 5×4×5 vicinity around the bobber resting on the water surface (2 blocks away horizontally, 2 blocks above the water surface, and 2 blocks deep).
my understanding is 2 blocks on each side of the bobber, and 2 below it must be water (or lily pads on the surface) and 2 above it must be air (or again lily pads on the surface)
Guess that makes them you... Scottsmen.

This task would have been a lot better if it was a real leap of faith, like in that they couldn't see there was water below. Since it was the first episode and lots of people where a little sloppy with their tasks I guess it's fine, but no faith or trust or anything was really involved when everyone could see they where just jumping into water. Anyway, great to see Gem on the server, love this series and this channel. Hope Phasmo is still on too, always fun to see my favorite KRcliprs do something other than Minecraft every once in a while, although this is great.

for the treasure from fishing you need at least 3 deep fully water source block. you can do that by bonemealing the ground under the water.

For the Fishing Pond per Wiki:
To catch items in the treasure category, the bobber must be in open water, defined as the 5×4×5 vicinity around the bobber resting on the water surface (2 blocks away horizontally, 2 blocks above the water surface, and 2 blocks deep).
I usually do a 5x5 and dig it 3 deep. Cast in the middle as it checks the Bobber so where it lands matters.

Hilarious that Gem got two clingers from secret tasks. I love that Scott could have technically attached his base to both gem’s and impulse’s base since he was between them and that would make his task technically easier, but he just chose to stick to gem’s 😂
Love to see some of my favorites all building a base together. ❤ I hope they make some secret connected basements or something for their lil village.
