30:44 Hey Gem! I know u wanted to keep the bridge somewhat simple but those empty spaces in the pillars u left, u should put some amethyst blocks. It would add just a touch of color without being too obnoxious and match it up to the rest of your builds.
Also u should tie a horse to the cart to make it look like it’s pulling it 😊

I always mine quartz to repair my pick while mining ancient debris. Extends the mining session quite a bit. Loved the episode as always!

Tip:
Press F3 + G to turn on chunk borders and then mine a 2x2 tunnel on the edge of two chunks, as ancient debris spawn is chunk based you will get more

They gave you a bottle of water, Gem~! To piglins I'd imagine that's pretty precious. Also, wait, how do they even get that?

That bridge is really impressive. I did something similar in my All the Mods 9 world (much easier in modded when you have access to jetpacks and stuff, too, so mad props for the scaffolding grind) but I also had the bridge curve in the middle about 60 degrees to meet up with another island. That was super painful and I will never do it again. XD

first of all, i am loving your world!! its been so inspiring to me. i paused the video near the end, while i was AFK and got a spectacular view looking out towards the bridge, bee sanctuary and also the sniffer sanctuary. i drew up some ideas on the screenshot of little things that could be added that i believe would cohesively integrate both of the sanctuaries into your main village a little more, without taking away from the main village. unfortunately i can't post the picture on here but if you would be interested in seeing it to perhaps gain a little inspo yourself then please feel free to let me know where i can send the edited screenshot. its no picasso lol but its enough for you to get the gist of the ideas.

I know that when Gem said she needs to upgrade the armoursmith area, the armoursmith in question was just trying to pathfind to his furnace, but because he stood against the wall like that, it looked like he was just devastated at the state of his workshop xddd

Also, re: the bridge. I always feel like when I build structures that extend into water I need to use mossy block variants or otherwise erode them, which in turn kind of forces stone into the palette...

A really cool future project could be a small fishing village down the river on the otherside of the bridge! Going from the docks of the pink village under the bridge and then down a river (maybe with some extra foliage) to a small fishing community could be really cool! Maybe the pink one near the ocean catches cod while the river one has salmon or something

Gem i would LOVE to see just the next episode as a clean up episode around your main village build all the little small houses and fix a lot of the terrain and random blocks around!

here’s a little tip for gem and chat: get and allay and give it dirt or whatever you’re using for scaffolding so that when you break that block and it falls you don’t need to go looking for it

If you know the coordinates of the end portal you can also just divide them by 8 and walk to those coordinates in the nether and build a portal to the overworld. You’ll come out at the endportal.

The only part of the smithing template update I hate is that you must get one to upgrade to Nethrite. The effort to reward of having to find Nethrite, then find a bastion, then pray you are lucky enough to find a template isn't worth the slight durability/damage increase.

Love the bridge, but just so you're aware, the first arch is slightly different from the others 👀 looks like just the center block filled in where it's cut out from the others 🤷‍♂ also, for a bit of added life, you could add a fence to the wagon and hook a horse up to it 🤓

You should check your elytra everytime you think of it because if it breaks while you're high up in the air with no water on the ground the world will end.

Gem, I know its probably late for this. You made an arch mistake (see 27:17 , but I did see it earlier also). The first has a flat top, where all the others go to a point.

You should make a tall kinda wizard looking tower of the cartographer!

You should add some buttons on the front of the cart as headlights. There was a lil part of me that felt, un-itched, that was calling for buttons there 😅

Gem's videos just make me wanna play minecraft

One way to get under nether lava lakes is to drop 5 columns of gravel in a plus sign shape, then dig out the middle column and replace it with ladders. Personally, I don’t trust the gravel that much so I surround the plus sign with more gravel then replace the point of the plus sign with some form of stone.

You talk about how you love to have your builds connected maybe if not in this series you can have an area connected by the sky so you can fly im not sure where this idea is going but it would definitely be a fun challenge
