Ah, I thought she'd just put some glass in a chest while I was distracted. There was so much grey stained glass floating around by the end it was hard to keep track who she got.
I THOUGHT so! I even mentioned it on her last episode, but then wondered if Tango and Skizz counted as two because she put glass in a chest they shared.
I thought one of them had been edited out for time/because it wasn't very interesting

Task/Secret Suggestion: Make up a fake word and insert it into a conversation without anyone noticing or asking about it. It'd be a very chobblesome task that's for sure.

I guess the time has to be balanced somewhat so that the average player would lose around 10 extra hearts in that time.

That doesn't seem very hard: just use a dispenser and get them when they have their back turned.

If you fail your task and then tell people you failed your task, then haven't you completed your task? 🤔

Seems easy, just tell them you failed. People seem to believe it.
Issue with this: People always ask what the task was. It'd be super easy for the yellows to figure out what your task is if you keep going "I failed" and don't elaborate.
Task idea: get Etho to answer 5 Naruto related questions. When you're done, drop a log in front of him, yell out "substitution jutsu!", then run away.
An 11-eye portal? Gem got really lucky this episode.
Im pretty sure that grian specifically said in his first episode that the stronghold was custom put there by whoever setup the map for them, so I assume they also made it an 11-eye portal to make it a bit easier
Task idea: guilt trip 3 different people into giving you free items (hearts only count if you are already at max hp)
Task recommendation: The player has to try and convice a random player to marry them and the whole server has to show up to the ceremony. (this would probably be a hard task)

Ghast tears may be useless for regen, but they’d still be useable as a formidable weapon in the form of an end crystal.
hard task idea: redo 2 tasks you've previously done in 1 episode
Tbh if any life season was gonna implement the end, this one seems the most fitting. The higher player fragility even with the 30 hearts along with everyone being a little more off thansk to the secret tasks allows the end to be this looking thing slowly building in the background. And only requiring you to open it adds to the tension: because now it’s only a matter of when.
Maybe the final battle will be there, alongside the dragon. But with world border cutting off end cities, no real benefit killing the dragon. The xp for enchants is nice but too risky.

@@dustinjoosen5901they could have the datapack that adds the elytra to the dragon's drops. Also theoretically the end gateways should teleport you past the border anyway. (No idea how they interact with the border if it were to exist in the end.)
But also to be considered: they have no regen outside of tasks and elytra cause so much damage between the chip damage from running into things/landing, the big hits of kinetic energy and breaking mid flight, and most importantly the sacrifice of your chestplate. Elytra may not be worth it with such a small world border and the mechanics of this season. (Between the increased damage and highly visible transportation, but on the other hand they make for a rapid escape)
When is um. Next episode. Woops. Not much tension, it turns out.

Physically impossible and, more importantly, just not very fun as either a player or a viewer.
Task idea: Get a music disc whatever way possible, and ensure every member of the server hears the song it plays via a jukebox.
Task Recommendation (Hard): Convince someone to tell his/her secret to you. If they say, no one fails
it would be funny if the person who told the secret still failed
This could definitely be a Red Task.
isn't it strange that a hard task is literally just "open the end portal" that mixed with the evo symbol on the secret keeper and the lore that connects to the end, surely im not the only one that thinks somethings going on??? or i'm crazy who knows :)

Something I really like about these tasks is that they tend to overlap far more than I'd expect. Someone suggested a task to remove torches, and someone else a task to have an imaginary friend. It just so happened Tango decided to make his imaginary friend Torchy framing him for someone elses task. This is a really fun gimmick!
Never thought the end was enabled in this series.
But there was always the border so it might be the first time it's inside.
Grian had specified in his first episode he specifically asked for the end to be within the world border

I'm thinking the Mods knew where it was and filled all the slots except one to make the task Hard, but not *really* hard.
@@iloveowls90 True in previous seasons there was no end portal inside the world border, but for this season specifically Grian has stated that he requested the seed and worldborder to have the end portal within the confines.
I am hoping more people start going for hard tasks in general because 1. it's content for us, and 2. you can get a LOT out of them if you succeed.
I watched Scott's POV first, and I remember thinking "why are they collecting end stuff?" But dismissing it. Gem did great at passing it off as good defense for the season

task: pretend you’re a talk show host the entire session and whenever you talk to someone, you’re using a gameshow voice
I knew the skinchange was coming...Im a lil bummed that Gem didnt also put on an 80's glam rock skin, but I also like that shes sticking true to herself. She is just gem. And she is a 10.
Task recommendation :
Place a random blocks (atleast 10 blocks) when having a conversation with someone without them questioning it. If they question it then you have to find someone else
Secret ideas:
- get 3 people to go to the nether
- get somebody to gift you a valuable item
- get someone to stay in your house for 10 minutes
I can't believe people aren't putting feather falling on their boots immediately. Its the cause of about 90% of the heart loss on this series lol.
Task idea: for an entire session, only eat soup (Mushroom stew, beetroot soup, suspicious stew (and rabbit stew))

Task idea: Submit this task without anyone watching, following, or questioning your journey to the secret keeper

I so love gem's task, they should do more of these punishment tasks for those who incorrectly claim their rewards so that they will not repeat it again
I mean...skeleton horse and pumpkin for a head in my mind isn't *that* far removed from cottage-core. There's something about the Headless Horseman and Sleepy Hollow that feels like a horror-cottage-core, kinda cosy in the same way. So...still fits for Gem! xD
Task suggestion: act like you haven’t seen someone the entire session every single time you see them. If you get called out you must restart with another player.
* Task idea: Swap out someone's furnace fuel source for a non-flammable material and successfully convince them they can smelt with it
You can't put non fuel items in the fuel slot of a furnace.
In bedrock you can use gold nuggets as a fuel source for some reason - convince them that got ported to Java with one of the parity updates.
Task Idea: Integrate 10 honeyblocks into your design for a build and have no one discuss it
Gems style is so cluttered I think she can manage this without anyone questioning it

OH i love this series! Especially the secret task part, everybody behaves so whacky and it makes me want to watch EVERYbodies videos just to confirm suspicions or see favorite parts from absolutely everyones perspective. Most addictive Life season ever, so much fun!

Gem little tip I learned a long time ago, you can waterlog things in the nether so if you make the floor out of slabs you can just stand in water. Something people don’t normally take advantage of because it’s not worth it but i think it might be in this series.
Task Recommendation (Hard): Make someone fail their task. When completing it, both players will get the finish reward.
Gem: Redundantly explains the rules of the series in the intro on every single episode.
Also Gem: Doesn't explain how she failed her task in the previous episode.

Possible red-life hard task suggestion: Get someone with more than 20 hearts to die to a cactus. It doesn’t matter what leads up to it so long as the death message is from a cactus.
A task idea would be to rename another player's tools without them noticing :D

Imagine Bdubs getting his task in session 4 before Gemini completed this task. That would have been truly impossible.

Beat the dragon. Respawn it if you have to. Convince others to join you if you want but you cannot be called out.

Convince a lot of people that you completed your task very early… without telling them what it was.

No clue as it said 4 peoples inventories/chests, not Inventories and chests and iirc she filled 2 peoples chests and 2 peoples inventories.

Her task last session was to fill 4 people inventory/chest with grey stained glass, but she only did it to jimmy and one other person.(she thought one was enough)

here's a task suggestion, you have to be extra kind to someone but if they say something about it, you must go to someone else for 30 minutes.

Task idea: have at least 5 people to believe that you are in danger when you really aren't
hard task idea: try to figure out someone's task (who hasn't completed it yet) and finish it before them. If you finish it before them they have to fail the task or reroll for a harder one
I think this would be unjust to the other player.
You can ask everyone once, about their task, and it can be about the same task, ie, you could have asked Scar, too.
